Tours, Loire Valley, France
May 1 to September 30, 2026
The 1st INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF
ABSTRACT AND SURREALIST PHOTOGRAPHY
The ABSURIA Festival brings together for the first time, exclusively through photography, two of the most famous art movements: abstraction and surrealism.
The organizers wanted to present abstract and surrealist art photography by choosing “open” exhibition venues.
A festival designed to bring art to the public and encourage them to visit art venues.

The ABSURIA International Abstract and Surrealist Photography Competition
A competition open to amateur and professional photographers from around the world who practise abstract or surrealist photography.
Enter the competition and win one of many prizes.
Physical Exhibitions
The exhibitions take place at several sites in the city of Tours. Access to the main venues is free and guarantees nominated artists maximum visibility.

Online galleries
Nominees and winners are exhibited in two digital galleries accessible from the ABSURIA.fr website. One of the galleries is in 3D.
